Jackson County: Four fires near Willow Lake believed by Forest Service to be human caused

VIDEO: The U.S. Forest Service for the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest said firefighters have responded to four new fire starts within 72 hours, and with no recent storm activity in the area, the agency said these fires are likely human-caused. Three of the four are on the High Cascades Ranger District, east of Willow Lake. The other is located on Wild Rivers Ranger District about three miles northwest of Wonder. The biggest of the four is the Cedar Fire, which was located Sunday. Itโ€™s about one acre in size and firefighters are on scene with more to come. The Forest Service reminding folks to use extreme care to avoid any spark that could start a fire. Law enforcement is patrolling the forest as air and ground resources perform reconnaissance for any additional new fires.
