PHOTOS: One person is dead this morning after crashing a vehicle into the Timber Pub & Grub off Highway 212. Clackamas Fire says they responded to the crash at 6:03 a.m. “Initial reports indicated that a vehicle had crashed into a building, causing a partial roof collapse and leaving one person trapped inside the vehicle,” Clackamas Fire told KATU News in an email. Officials say when firefighters arrived, they worked to stabilize the building and safely remove the driver of the vehicle. The driver was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. One person was inside the building at the time of the crash but was not injured. Highway 212 was closed in both directions. Oregon State Police are leading the investigation.
