Early Monday morning, the Lane Fire Authority (LFA) responded to a barn fire in the 88000 block of Vinyard Lane, near Veneta. According to LFA, the call came in just before 2 a.m., prompting a swift response from one engine company and a water tender from the Veneta and Franklin stations. LFA said fire crews quickly brought the blaze under control with a team of six Lane Fire personnel. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
