Tunnel to Towers Foundation gives mortgage-free home to family of fallen Tulsa firefighter

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation delivered a mortgage-free home to the family of fallen Tulsa Firefighter Harrison Moseby. Firefighter Moseby became a third-generation firefighter in 2019 following his grandfather, Local 176 President Dennis Moseby, his father, Captain James Moseby and his brother Hayden Moseby, as well as his father-in-law, Fire Equipment Operator Bryan Burd; and his two brothers-in-law, Brayden and Blake Burd.

Moseby was diagnosed with epithelioid sarcoma in 2022. He passed away January 22, 2024. He left behind his wife, Mallory, and their two daughters. “The loss of Firefighter Harrison Moseby shows the unseen risks our first responders face every day, and is a powerful reminder of the dangers firefighters face extend well beyond the call of duty,” said Frank Siller, Chairman and CEO of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. “At the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, we are humbled to honor his service by providing his wife and daughters with a mortgage-free home as they navigate this unimaginable loss,” The Tunnel to Towers Foundation was founded to honor FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller, who died 24 years ago during the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center in New York City.
