Oklahoma City Fire Department officials reported that a Thursday afternoon plane crash took out power lines and started a grass fire, but the crew were not injured.
The crash happened near Southeast 119th Street and Sooner Place.
Scott Douglas, with the Oklahoma City Fire Department, said just after 2 p.m. Thursday, dispatchers received a phone call of an aircraft emergency.
Firefighters quickly arrived to the scene, where the crew had already gotten out of the plane.
Douglas said one of the crew mentioned the plane suffered engine failure and that the aircraft took out powerlines as they were coming down.
