Firefighters put out a dumpster fire at a local business. The call came just after 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, to a business in the 900 block of Hazel Street, according to a news release. Firefighters found a large dumpster full of scrap that had caught fire, according to the release. โDue to the location and limited access, a ladder pipe was raised to put out the fire,โ reads the release. Firefighters then brought in heavy equipment to pull the burning material out of the dumpster to extinguish it. There were no injuries.
