Semi catches fire on Ohio Turnpike in Lordstown

VIDEO/PHOTOS: Firefighters responded to a semi-truck fire on the Ohio Turnpike in Lordstown Saturday afternoon. Crews and troopers responded to mile marker 216 of the Ohio Turnpike around 1:15 p.m.

OSHP said that the incident was a mechanical fire. The driver made it out safely, according to troopers. The right lane was shut down while the area was cleared. Traffic was delayed, but the area has since been cleared.
