Firefighters in Richland County battled a blaze in the Madison City Mobile Home Park early Monday morning. According to a Facebook post from the Madison Township Fire Department, crews were called to the area at around 1:40 a.m. in the 600 block of Skyline Road. Upon arrival, firefighters found a mobile home heavily involved in flames.
Both Mifflin Township and Mansfield fire crews provided aid. Photos posted on the department’s Facebook page, which can be viewed below, show the aftermath of the fire. According to the Madison Township Fire Department, no injuries were reported. An emergency fire, water and storm damage company was called to assist the victims. At this time, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
