Madison Township fire crews rescue blind horse from swimming pool

Firefighters were called to a Madison Township home Wednesday for a blind horse stuck in a swimming pool. Someone called the firehouse to tell them their horse got out of its fenced area and went into an in-ground pool at a neighbor’s house, according to a social media post.

Reily Township’s large animal rescue unit helped Madison Township fire crews get the horse out of the pool. The Madison Township Fire Department said it didn’t appear the horse was hurt.
