A home in Hartford Township was a total loss after crews battled a fire on Sunday morning. The Brookfield Fire Department posted on its Facebook that it responded around 8:40 a.m. to a two-story wood frame home engulfed in flames. All the occupants had gotten out with only seconds to spare prior to the departmentโs arrival. No one was injured. The post said multiple departments were on scene as firefighters battled the fire amid Sundayโs high temperatures and humidity for almost five hours without incident.
