Cleveland firefighters battle building fire on city’s East side

VIDEO: Over 60 firefighters battled a large building fire on the city’s East side Monday morning. Firefighters responded to the vacant, mixed-use building at E. 105th Street and North Boulevard just after 6 a.m.

This is in the city’s Glenville neighborhood. When firefighters arrived, they immediately called it a triple 2-alarm fire and ordered crews not to enter the building.

Flames were coming through the roof. Cleveland Fire Lt. Mike Norman said there were no injuries and the fire was brought under control around 8:30 a.m. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
