PHOTOS: A Cleveland firefighter was transported to the hospital Tuesday morning after helping put out a fire on the city’s east side. The Cleveland Division of Fire was called to the area of East 105th Street and St. Clair Avenue for reports a fire had broken out at a vacant house at about 9:30 a.m. Upon arrival, flames and smoke were seen coming out of the top of the windows of the house and firefighters worked to put out the blaze, as seen in a Cleveland Division of Fire video on X. Cleveland Division of Fire said an injured firefighter was taken to Cleveland Clinic is now in stable condition. It was not clear what led to the person’s hospitalization. An investigation into how the fire started is continuing. Damages were estimated at $200,000.
