VIDEOS: Fire officials have released new information following Tuesdayโs fire at Rocky River Brewing Company, which sent two firefighters to the hospital and caused millions in damage. According to Rocky River Fire Chief Aaron Lenart, the fire was construction-related, stating that “workers were doing some hot work on the roof.”
The cause has been ruled accidental, with damages estimated at $3 million, split evenly between the building itself and the businessโs contents. Lenart added that both firefighters injured during the response are doing well and were kept at a hospital overnight for observation. Fire crews were first called to the Center Ridge Road brewery around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday. The restaurant was not open at the time. The fire was contained to the roof and brought under control shortly after noon.
