One treated for smoke inhalation due to Minot mobile home fire

VIDEO: One person was treated for smoke inhalation following a Tuesday morning fire in Minot. According to the Minot Fire Department, crews were called to 30th Avenue NW around 5 a.m., February 11. While on their way to the scene, firefighters were notified that a person was still inside the mobile home and wasn’t able to get out because of the fire conditions. When the first engine arrived, teams immediately started search and rescue operations and were able to successfully find and remove the person from the home. The individual was attended to at the scene and then taken to Trinity Hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation. Crews found the fire was contained to a single bedroom inside the mobile home. The cause is under investigation.
