Parents reunite with Brunswick County EMTs that delivered baby

VIDEO: For the first time since that fateful day, the parents of the baby delivered in the back of an ambulance were reunited with the EMS responders. On March 30th, Margie Watkins was on the way to the hospital from Brunswick County when her water broke with BCEMS staff quickly jumping into action. โ€œAs soon as I heard that, I started looking for a place to pull over,โ€ said BCEMS responder Kiya Banks. The ambulance was reportedly 6 minutes away from the hospital, seeing the lights in the distance, but it was too late. โ€œWhen my water broke I was like, oh gosh yeah this is definitely happening, in here!โ€ said mom Margie Watkins. โ€œI think thatโ€™s when I whispered the magic, โ€˜ok weโ€™re gonna not scream and weโ€™re gonna use all that energy to pushโ€™ and then out she came,โ€ said Banks.
