Onslow County Emergency Medical Services recently earned a continuing educations institution certification. This will allow EMS personnel to train with skilled Onslow County officials to keep up their required certifications. Educational opportunities will be expanded as well as better training resources and continued growth through the department thanks to this certification. “This milestone means that our EMS division can provide accredited continuing education programs, allowing our providers to stay at the forefront of emergency medical care while maintaining their certifications locally. It further strengthens our ability to serve the community with well-trained EMS professionals.” said Jarrod Plumley, EMS Training Officer.
