Members of Greenville Fire Rescue have completed a 51-hour Technical Rescue: Ropes Operations certification course, conducted under the North Carolina Fire and Rescue Commission.
This training equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills for executing safe and effective rope rescues in both low and high-angle environments.
The course covered various aspects of rope systems, mechanical advantage, patient packaging, and rescue operations across different terrains. Officials say this training enhances the department’s capability and readiness to handle complex technical rescue incidents.
