Fayetteville house fire causes multiple road closures; 2 displaced, officials say

PHOTOS: Firefighters said they are currently investigating the cause of a fire that ravaged a home in north Fayetteville Wednesday morning. According to the Fayetteville Fire Department, crews rushed to a structure fire call on the 800 block of East Orange Street. Upon arrival, the first responding unit found heavy fire and marked it a working fire. Emergency responders had Orange Street between Wiley Street and Cumberland Street closed while crews cleared the scene. A spokesperson with the fire department said they reopened roads Wednesday afternoon. Photos provided by the department show heavy smoke and a wild blaze shooting through the roof of the home. Flames were primarily seen in the back of the house.
