A drone helped locate a missing person on Saturday night, according to Thomasville Fire & Rescue.ย Firefighters were called around 9:50 p.m. to search for a missing person with a known medical condition. Crews were able to find the person within 20 minutes of arriving at the scene using a drone equipped with thermal imaging technology.ย The fire department said the person was found safely and received proper care. โWe are proud of our teamโs swift action and grateful for the tools and training that help us serve our community more effectively,โ the fire department said in a social media post.
