A fire crew at one North Carolina fire department is busy breaking barriers. The Holly Springs Fire Department has an all-female crew on Holly Springs Engine 2. The tight-knit crew proves that anything is possible. The team is led by Lieutenant Kendall Stinson, “A committed firefighter and proud mother of twin girls,” according to the department’s Facebook post. Lt. Stinson also shared an inspiring message on Mother’s Day for all moms serving, “Your courage at home and on the front lines inspires us.”
