3 people, 1 pet displaced after Raleigh house fire

Three people were displaced from their home early Monday morning after an overnight fire in Raleigh. According to the Raleigh Fire Department, crews were sent at around 2:55 a.m. to the 4100 block of Deep Hollow Drive in response to a single-alarm fire. Firefighters contained the flames to the kitchen and controlled the fire by 3:30 a.m. Everybody inside the home, including three people and one pet, was able to get out of the home safely without any injuries. The American Red Cross has been contacted to assist the residents who have been displaced. Approximately 30 firefighters responded to the scene, officials said. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
