Firefighters responded to a house fire in east Charlotte on Sunday that left one person hurt. The fire happened at a home on Carelock Circle near Harrisburg Road around 6 p.m. One person suffered from smoke inhalation and was treated at the scene. The fire started in the closet, according to the Charlotte Fire Department. It’s unclear what started the fire. About $20,000 worth of damage was reported from the fire. No further information was released.
