Onondaga County fire department announces death of lifetime member

The Onondaga Hill Fire Department announced the death of one of its lifetime members. Dominick Romagnoli was a member with the Onondaga Hill Fire Department since 1988. He passed away on August 30.

The department said Romagnoli responded to more than 5,000 calls for services and completed more than 14,000 hours of station standby.

“Dom, you may be lost but you will never be forgotten,” the department wrote on Facebook. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Romagnoli family during this difficult time.” He was 56 years old.
