VIDEO: A house fire broke out Monday morning on Graham Avenue in the Village of New Hartford.
The New Hartford Fire Department firefighters arrived at 10:18 a.m. to find heavy smoke coming from the roof of the single-family home.
They quickly extinguished the fire, and no residents were inside at the time.
Pets were safely removed, but one cat remains missing.
The fire was under control by 11:04 a.m., though the home sustained fire, smoke and water damage.
The cause is still under investigation.
The street has reopened.
