VIDEO: A fire that broke out in Schenectady on Saturday morning is currently under investigation, according to the Schenectady Fire Department. The fire reportedly occurred at a home on Avenue B. Schenectady Assistant Fire Chief Dave Massaro told NEWS10 that the department was dispatched to the 2.5-story residence just after 6 a.m. The fire was reportedly confined to the attic, causing damage to the roof of the home. According to Massaro, all three occupants of the residence were safely evacuated, but two firefighters were minorly injured at the scene. Both received treatment at Ellis Hospital. The fire was knocked down within about an hour, authorities said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
