Rio Rancho Fire Rescue issued a warning to the community about a scam call. The department said it was made aware of a scam in which people recieved calls and were asked for money to support Rio Rancho Fire Rescue. Rio Rancho Fire Rescue said it will never call to ask for money. If you receive one of these phone calls, Rio Rancho Fire Rescue said do not give out any sensitive financial information and contact Rio Rancho Police to report the call.
