A fire in one of the apartments in a single-story building Tuesday morning was put out in a matter of minutes, with no one injured and no one displaced, an Albuquerque Fire Rescue news release said.
AFR got a call about the fire at 508 Kentucky St. SE around 7 a.m. Ladder 5 and Engine 11 responded, and the fire was knocked down within four minutes. Only the one apartment, which was unoccupied, was damaged. No tenants of other apartments were displaced, the release said. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
