Albuquerque Fire and Rescue put out house fire

Fire investigators are looking into a fire that severely damaged a home Wednesday night in northwest Albuquerque. According to AFR, fire crews arrived at a home located in the 3400 block of Corona Dr NW just before 8 p.m and saw that the there was heavy smoke coming from the roof of the single family home. Firefighters were able to put out the fire in just over 20 minutes, but the damage to the home was significant, according to fire officials. One person was displaced but declined assistance and chose to go with family members. No injuries were reported.
