Hunterdon County invests $2.3M in emergency response technology upgrade

Hunterdon County is modernizing its emergency response capabilities with a $2.3 million upgrade to its dispatch and records management systems, officials recently announced.

The updated system will unify countywide records management services for police, fire, and EMS agencies, improving operational efficiency.

Officials expect the shared services model to generate cost savings, particularly for local fire departments.

The new system is scheduled for deployment on October 1.
