Fire crews were busy working on Monday morning after a large fire broke out overnight at an assisted living facility in Medford, New Jersey. According to officials, crews responded to a three-alarm fire at the unoccupied Friends of Cyrus assisted living facility along the 100 block of Tuckerton Road in Medford, New Jersey at about 2:16 a.m. on Monday morning. For more than an hour, crews worked to extinguish the fire, officials said. As of about 5:30 a.m. on Monday, no injuries were reported in this incident. In a statement released Monday, Friends of Cyrus founder Kamelia Kameli said the facility operated a day habilitation program. “Our Medford site operated as a day habilitation program, open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fire at the building early this morning was truly unfortunate, and we are immensely grateful that no one was hurt,” Kameli said.
