A pedestrian was killed in a crash in Reno on Sunday night. Crews from the Reno Police Department, Reno Fire Department, and REMSA responded to a vehicle vs pedestrian crash at the intersection of Sutro St. and E. 6th Street around 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 16. Medical personnel transported the pedestrian to a hospital, but the pedestrian died shortly later.
The Reno Police Department M.A.I.T. (Major Accident Investigation Team) is handling the investigation. Authorities say the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. It does not appear speed or impairment were factors in this crash. The identity of the deceased has not been released.
