PHOTOS: A new fire station in the growing west Henderson area is welcoming the community to celebrate its grand opening. The city of Henderson says people are invited on Wednesday, May 7, to tour Fire Station 92, located at 2000 Via Centro.
City officials say the station will serve west Henderson and the Inspirada master-planned community. It will also serve as an additional training center. The station features four apparatus bays and can house up to 14 fire department personnel for 24/7 response.
“As our department continues to grow, itโs crucial that we continue providing premier fire services, and this station will help us do just that,” Fire Chief Scott Vivier said in a statement. Tours will start at 10 a.m. May 7. If you can’t make it to the grand opening, the city will host an open house on Saturday, June 14.
