Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue stopped forward progress of a small wildfire on Tuesday. It grew to between one and two acres, according to a social media post from TMFR. It happened in the hills to the east of Sun Valley. No homes were lost, and there were no injuries reported. The cause is currently being investigated.
