Crews mop up fire in Reno that damaged homes and cars, no injuries reported

VIDEO/PHOTOS: Crews were extensively mopping up a fire that burned several homes in Lemmon Valley on Monday afternoon. Two of the homes that burned are deemed to be uninhabitable. The fire broke out in the area of Magnolia Way just after 12:30 p.m. on June 30. Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue says at least three buildings and multiple cars were damaged. There was an initial report of people trapped, but after extensive search crews determined everyone got out safely. No injuries have been reported at this time. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
