One person was taken to the hospital after a fire in Bellevue Friday afternoon. Crews responded to the scene near Cedar Island and Childs roads around 3 p.m. Friday. Firefighters from Bellevue and Papillion as well as Offutt Air Force Base responded to the fire. According to a Bellevue Fire Department report, crews found a 63-year-old woman on the porch of the home. BFD says the woman was in obvious respiratory distress, and was taken to the hospital for possible smoke inhalation. BFD says no other people were hospitalized as a result of the fire.
