The Chambers Volunteer Fire Department responded to a shop fire at 85541 495th Avenue on the night of September 14. By the time crews arrived at approximately 20:59, the shop and its contents were already a complete loss. Additionally, about ten hay bales were burning at the scene.
Firefighters remained on site until around 01:00 on September 15, deploying Trucks 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 12, and 99-1. They used approximately 11,000 gallons of water to bring the fire under control. The cause of the fire was determined to be electrical.
