Fire crews say one person was hospitalized after a house fire in North Omaha Sunday morning. An Omaha Fire Department report says crews responded to a house fire near 57th Street and Lafayette Avenue around 7 a.m. Sunday morning. OFD says all occupants of the house were evacuated by the time fire crews were on the scene.
One person was transported to Nebraska Medicine due to smoke inhalation, according to the report. OFD says the fire was extinguished quickly. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damages are estimated to be $105,000.
