Worker rescued from 92-foot tower in South Carolina

VIDEO/PHOTOS: The Charlotte Fire Department assisted with a high-angle rescue at a large water tank structure Tuesday in the Indian Land area. Chopper 9 Skyzoom captured firefighters as they worked to bring a worker who had been injured to ground level safely. It looked like the tower was in a phase of construction. According to the Indian Land Fire Department, the workerโ€™s leg was injured while he was working on the top of the 92-foot tower. โ€œCalled for a high-angle box out of Charlotte. Just because of the technical rescue, we had climbers go up and tend to the workers with medical care and start the process of getting some rope systems set up,โ€ said Indian Land Fire Chief Greg Nicholson.
