Firefighters from multiple southern New Hampshire communities responded to a large fire impacting multiple buildings in Nashua on Tuesday morning.
The fire broke out around 6:26 a.m. at 115 Vine St., according to fire officials. They said the scene remains active but no additional details were released. Nashua Police Sgt. John Cinelli said in an email that his department received a 911 call reporting the fire around 6:30 a.m. and have been assisting the fire department with evacuating surrounding residences.
He said at least five people were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries, but he believes they were just for evaluation. Photos from the scene showed heavy flames shooting from the roof of at least two separate multi-story buildings. The New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s Office said they are not involved in the investigation at this time but are ready to assist if requested.
