A Vine City playground was burned down Tuesday afternoon. What’s worse is, Atlanta officials believe the fire was set on purpose. SKYFOX 5 flew over a fire at June Elois Mundy Park at around 4 p.m. on Tuesday. Within minutes, firefighters were at the scene putting it out. But, the fire raged just long enough for the equipment to be melted and community green space to be scorched. “It’s just sad that this happened,” said neighbor Linda Adams. Atlanta City Council member Byron Amos said it was disheartening to hear what happened to a space he fought so hard for.
