VIDEO: Flames break out inside Rhode Island firehouse

PHOTOS: A large fire broke out inside of a town firehouse in Burrillville Friday night. Parts of the walls were heavily damaged at the building on Wallum Lake Road. Chief Michael Dexter said the flames started at approximately 5 p.m. An NBC 10 photographer saw the entire roof was burned. A fire engine was inside at the time of the fire. No injuries have been reported. According to the State Fire Marshal’s office, the fire was accidental and caused by a faulty portable space heater.
