VIDEO: Team Wildfire is using advanced technologies to revolutionize how to fight against the most destructive fires. The company showcased a prototype called “Hurricane on Wheels,” at CBS 8’s parking lot last Friday. “You have 400-mile-an-hour winds pointed at the fire, reversing the direction of the flame tips while imbuing those winds with powerful retardants, and that combination is a fire killer,” said Steve Wolf, founder of Team Wildfire. They mounted jet engines with retardant injectors onto trucks and UTVs, turning movie tech into lifesaving tech.
