PHOTOS: Ben Fair didn’t always have his own parking space at fires in Bedford. Before he was old enough to legally drive, his mother provided the transportation. No one has a reserved parking space at a fire – it’s a figure of speech. But it accurately describes Fair’s response for the past three years, and this dedication and the resulting photographs have endeared him to first responders not only here, but also in neighboring towns. And the Bedford High School senior says he is now inspired to pursue a career that will save lives. Fair calls himself “a fire photographer and a photojournalist.”
