Military projectiles left outside Ohio fire headquarters, sheriff says

PHOTO: The Butler County Sheriffโ€™s Bomb Squad was called to investigate after two โ€œmilitary projectilesโ€ were dropped off at the West Chester Fire Headquarters. Butler County sheriff Richard Jones said Monday that the objects were found at the location on Cincinnati Dayton Road. The bomb squad quickly secured both projectiles, each 40 millimeters, and took them for further assessment and disposal. Jones said one of the projectiles was from the United States and the other was from France. โ€œOur Bomb Squad responds to several incidents a year that require very steady hands,โ€ Jones said in a post on X Monday.
