PHOTO: A late-night collision in Bowie brought Prince George’s County first responders to a halt when a PGFD ambulance collided with a civilian vehicle. The Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department reported the incident took place at the intersection of Crain Highway and Harbour Way, occurring at approximately 11:39 pm. Three individuals, including two PGFD personnel and one civilian, were transported for further evaluation, highlighting the inherent risks that come even to those tasked with navigating emergencies. Authorities moved quickly to respond to the collision, with the Prince George’s County Police Department stepping in to thoroughly investigate the circumstances of the crash. As is standard procedure, the PGPD will seek to quickly determine the cause, somehow to better prevent future incidents of a similar nature.
