PHOTOS: One firefighter-paramedic was injured after a crash on Interstate 240 Wednesday morning, the Memphis Fire Department confirmed. MFD says the ambulance truck was involved in a single-vehicle accident on I-240 and Norris Road. One firefighter was treated for injuries on the scene. They were then taken to the emergency room in non-critical condition. WREG crews on the scene captured what appeared to be an ambulance fire truck that crashed into a pole on the interstate median. Memphis Police asked drivers to seek alternative routes while they worked to clear the accident. The accident comes after an overnight snowstorm in the Mid-South left 1-3 inches of snow.
