Fire official warns about hazardous social media trend that hospitalized 2 Pennsylvania children

There is good and bad when it comes to social media, but a recent online challenge going around is just downright dangerous. โ€œThereโ€™s a trend going on right now where folks on TikTok and other social media platforms are being encouraged to either draw pictures on a mirror or on some sort of a surface with isopropyl alcohol, or rubbing alcohol, as it is more commonly known, and then light it on fire,โ€ said Brett Graham, the Deputy Fire Chief of the Lower Paxton Fire Department. โ€œThe other thing that folks are doing is actually pouring the isopropyl alcohol on themselves or on their clothing and lighting it on fire in hopes that it burns out, or burns into the shape that theyโ€™ve created before it actually burns their skin.โ€
