VIDEO: One person died and two others were hospitalized Tuesday when a concrete mixer truck drove off Beltway 8 and crashed on the feeder road below, according to authorities. It happened just before 9 a.m. along the Beltway at Bammel North Houston Road. Investigators said the driver of the concrete truck died. They said it all started when the concrete truck collided with a delivery truck in the westbound lanes of Beltway 8. The concrete truck crashed through a barrier wall and fell to the feeder road below, where it ended up upside down. Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office officials said five vehicles were involved when all was said and done.
