PHOTOS: A mansion in Weston was destroyed by a fire that appeared to be the result of turkey frying, firefighters said. The Weston Fire Department said it responded to 40 Weston Rd. around 3:40 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Nov. 28. Callers initially described the incident as a garage fire. By the time firefighters arrived, they said the fire had rapidly extended to the home. They tried an aggressive fire attack; however, their efforts were thwarted by dangerous fire conditions and structural collapse.
