Great Falls Fire and Rescue responds to shed fire 

A family has been displaced following a shed fire in Great Falls Monday evening. Emergency crews were on the scene in response to a structural fire near sixth street and 25 Ave. NE, according to the Great Falls Fire and Rescue via a Facebook post.

When firefighters arrived around 5:26 p.m., they found the shed beside the house fully engulfed in flames and all occupants already safely out of the home.

The fire also began spreading to the attic above the garage and the rest of the home, according to the social media post from Great Falls Fire and Rescue.

Crews were able to contain the fire within 10 minutes. There was damage to the garage exterior, and smoke damage through the house. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental, GFFR said.
